We have two services, at 8:15 and 10:30 a.m., which are very similar. We sing, pray, hear the Word preached, and enjoy special music and occasionally other presentations. Our music is a mix of the traditional and the modern, we have a grand piano, an organ, an electric piano and sometimes a drum set currently on our stage. We use a projector for announcements, outlines and lyrics, but we also have hymnals and Bibles in the pews. There are both standing and sitting portions of the service, but you are free to remain seated or stand or kneel or raise your hands as you feel moved to do.
Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m.; this program varies. Children are divided in groups by age, adults are mixed ages and genders. You can plan to arrive between 5 and 15 minutes before start times. A staffed nursery is offered during both morning services, and the children's high-energy multimedia program KidMo is offered during the later service. We also have an evening service Sundays at 6 p.m., featuring more laid-back, study atmosphere. [Links will take you to the sections of the site where these programs are detailed.]
There is no dress code here! Some attenders prefer suits or dresses, others come in jeans. As long as it is modest, please wear what you are comfortable worshipping in ... within reason...a clown costume or ball gown might be a little distracting!
